Sara Kula is a highly skilled and experienced employment law attorney. Throughout her career, Sara has gained extensive experience in employment law, including in the areas of wage and hour, leave management, disability accommodations, discrimination and harassment, retaliation, employment agreements, performance management, workplace investigations, and other human resources best practices.
Before initiating her own legal practice, Sara worked as in-house counsel (Employment Counsel and Assistant General Counsel) for Town Sports International, a publicly-traded company with over 8,000 employees in multiple states. As the company’s first Employment Counsel, Sara created new policies and procedures to comply with federal, state and local laws. She also collaborated with her human resources and business partners to implement and enforce employment-related policies and practices that were both legally compliant and operationally efficient.
Before becoming in-house counsel, Sara worked at Littler Mendelson, P.C., one of the leading employment law firms for management clients, where she represented a wide range of clients in various industries, including retail, hospitality, manufacturing, banking and insurance.
Sara created Sara Kula Law in order to provide individualized, high-quality guidance and strategic solutions in a cost-effective manner.
Sara graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and the University of Rochester.
